Westby Racing’s Scholtz Injured In Superbike Race One Crash At Indy; Wyman Is Fifth In Junior Cup

After a very solid Friday of practice and qualifying at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Westby Racing’s Mathew Scholtz was injured in a crash during Saturday’s Superbike race one, while Mathew’s teammate Cody Wyman nearly had a podium finish in Junior Cup race one to conclude what was a tumultuous day for the team.

With Scholtz Sidelined Due To Injury, Junior Cup Rider Wyman Carries The Flag For Westby Racing On Sunday At Indy

Westby Racing’s Superbike rider Mathew Scholtz was unfortunately ruled out of Sunday’s two races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway due to the injuries he suffered in Saturday’s race, so Junior Cup rider Cody Wyman was the lone rider on track for the team.

Following Successful Surgery In Indy, Westby Racing’s Scholtz Is On His Way Home

Westby Racing’s Superbike rider Mathew Scholtz is traveling home to Georgia today after having successful surgery on the injuries he sustained in a crash during Saturday’s race at the MotoAmerica Superbikes at The Brickyard event this past weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
