Dustin Meador

Position - Lead Technician

About Dustin – Dustin Meador is one of the original members of Westby Racing. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and a close friend of Dane’s, Dustin went to work for Tryg back in 2006. He earned the nickname “Double Duty” because of his unique skillset and talents as both a mechanic and as a racer.

Dustin has worked with Tryg on many vehicle restoration and build projects, and he has also raced in the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA), WERA Motorcycle Roadracing, and AMA events.

In 2009, he competed aboard a Westby Racing/Kneedraggers.com Yamaha YZF-R6. With Dane, Jeff Wood, and four-time AMA Superbike Champion Josh Hayes as his teammates, Dustin and the boys won the AMA SunTrust Moto-GT 8 Hours At Daytona.

Dustin continues to work for Tryg at the Westby Racing shop in Tulsa, and on MotoAmerica race weekends, he expertly wrenches on the gold-and-black Yamalube/Westby Racing Yamaha YZF-R1.

In 2016, “Double Duty” filled in for injured team rider Josh Day at rounds three (New Jersey Motorsports Park) and four (VIRginia International Raceway) of the MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 Championship where he raced the Yamalube/Westby Racing R1 to four solid top-ten results.
