Kennesaw, GA - October 14, 2015 – Earlier this week, Josh Day, rider of the #00 Yamalube/Westby Racing YZF-R1 in MotoAmerica Superstock 1000 competition, visited Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.’s Customer Support Group (CSG) in Kennesaw, GA.

Accompanied by Chuck Giacchetto, team manager for Yamalube/Westby Racing, Josh met with Yamaha CSG employees and thanked them for their support. Josh and Chuck also attended a meeting to discuss Yamalube/Westby Racing’s plans for the 2016 MotoAmerica road racing season.

“Things are looking good for 2016,” commented Chuck. “We’re not quite ready to announce our 2016 program yet, but Yamalube will definitely be back as the title sponsor for our team, and Josh Day will, for sure, be our rider. He notched three wins in MotoAmerica’s Superstock 1000 class this past season, including getting a double win at Miller Motorsports Park. He also podiumed in eight races and earned one pole position. We’re looking forward to even bigger and better things with Josh next year, especially after a solid off-season of testing and seat time on the #00 R1.”

“It was great to visit Yamaha’s Southeastern headquarters,” Josh added. “They’re big fans of our team, and they love racing just as much as we do. We’re all really looking forward to next year’s MotoAmerica season.”
