The Westby Racing Yamaha Superbike rider recorded his third runner-up finish in a row and showed poise, patience, and talent as he closed the gap on the race leader but made sure that he didn’t jeopardize his position or the ultimate result.

Round two of the 2022 MotoAmerica AMA/FIM North American Road Racing Championship starts this Friday at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. Rider Mathew Scholtz, along with the entire Westby Racing team, are extra-motivated for this round since it’s considered a home track.
