About Frank –

Westby Racing’s “tire-and-wheel guy,” Frank AKA “Fast Frank” is our Junior Cup Crew Chief. He also assists in the preparation of the both Superbike and Junior Cup team motorcycles, with particular focus on each bike’s wheels and tires. He works with Dunlop to install the chosen tire compounds, as instructed by the Crew Chief. He fills the tires with nitrogen at the proper pounds per square inch; balances, cleans, and preps the wheel/tire assemblies; and installs them on the bikes. Frank is also responsible for setting up the team’s space on the pitwall, making sure that all TV monitors, cabling, and radios are in place and working properly, and he also manages the team’s race gas, as well as the fuel for the generators.
